We are based in the heart of Shropshire, providing ourselves with excellent access to the UK's motorway network.
At Dale Brothers we pride ourselves on being a forward thinking transport company, while believing in traditional values of first class customer care and attention.

A third generation family transport company with its roots starting as far back as 1930 with the transportation of livestock and agricultural supplies, to the current day where we have a fleet of over 40 vehicles dedicated to refrigerated transport.

Our aim is to make doing business with our customers easy. Our friendly and experienced logistics team are available 24 hours a day and constantly monitor the movement of your goods ensuring that they arrive on time and in the condition they were despatched - every time.

Service
We provide a collection and delivery service throughout the UK, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Transporting a diverse range of products from raw food materials to the finished product for delivery to the major multiple retailers.

Our service covers national collection and delivery from 1 pallet to 26 pallets:

Frozen, chilled ambient
Dual temperature control vehicles, allowing for mixed temperature loads
Single or multi-drop options
Meat hanging deliveries
Panic loads
Express delivery samples
Deliveries into mainland Europe
At Dale Brothers we have the experience to handle every type of consignment and load combination, providing you with a stronger and more effective supply chain solution.

Fleet
Dale Brothers offers a prestigious fleet of quality vehicles all of which are under 5 years old. Having made significant investments in new vehicles and better technologies, this has enabled us to pass on value and quality to our customers, whilst also respecting the environment.

A fleet of 35 tractor units ranging from Mercedes Megaspace, Scania Topliner and Renault Magnum, all of which operate at 44 tons
Most tractor units use engines of Euro 4 or euro 5 standard - for cleaner exhaust emissions
Over 45 temperature controlled trailers, mostly all Chereau
All trailers are thermostatically monitored
Either single or dual temperature trailers
Double rows of load locking and bars for total load security
Meat hanging trailers
Carrier fridge units
18 ton rigid vehicles for smaller consignments and urban deliveries
24/7 mechanical and refrigeration support
Vehicle tracking

Frederick Geen

Frederick Geen, an early member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales which received its royal charter in 1880, commenced practice as a Chartered Accountant in Stoke-on-Trent in 1884. Amongst his employees were John Thomas Sandland who joined the firm in about 1888, and subsequently qualified as an Incorporated Accountant, and Frederick William Carder who joined the firm in 1907 - after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.

Frederick Geen was an active local Councillor and Alderman and served office as the Major of the recently federated County Borough of Stoke-on-Trent which was visited by King George V and Queen Mary. In the course of this visit they were entertained to luncheon by Frederick Geen at his residence 'Cliffeville' which, some years after his death, became the site of St. Dominic's School, Hartshill. He died suddenly during a council meeting on 28th January 1915.
